Our mission

Prince Vladimir Youth Association is a Non-Profit organization working to bring youth together by means of culture, philanthropy and the service of assisting the needy.

The objectives of our organization lay in the values established by Prince Vladimir the unifier of peoples to integrate youth through national identity, culture, language, philanthropy and importance of community service.

Our organization holds annual celebrations dedicated to the Legacy of St. Vladimir

The main goals

To promote cultural collaboration

To promote cultural collaboration while demonstrating the prayerful depth and beauty of the Orthodox music tradition; inspire and educate our young singers and conductors through a vast offering of professional programs.

To unite youth

To unite youth through the strengthening of national self-identity based on their historic homeland through the culture and traditions of Holy Russia.

To do missionary work

To do missionary work targeting and preserving the cultural legacy of the historic homeland of young people; to preserve the active use of Russian traditions in daily life both among young people and amid the descendants of Russian people of various generations living abroad.

To organize missionary and cultural events

To organize missionary and cultural conferences, symposiums on questions of morality, social service and culture; arrange pilgrimages and missionary and educational trips in Russia and abroad.

To organize and support youth participation

To organize and support youth participation in charitable and social service in their communities and the needy, elderly and lonely; to help in the preservation and restoration of Orthodox churches and monasteries in the US and Russia.

To support the moral upbringing

To support the moral upbringing of youth using the finest examples of the Russian emigration of old; preserving and disseminating the best experiences of the Russian Diaspora.
